ToXic Chat is the oldest and biggest of my projects. Designed to replace iChat which is a dead project, it was started in december 2003 with Dragoş Mihai Bucevschi. The first versions were written in Borland Delphi/Kylix: • may 10th 2004 - 0.0.1 • may 23rd 2004 - 0.1.0 • august 30th 2004 - 0.2.0 • september 1st 2004 - 0.2.1 • july 16th 2005 - 0.4 • december 25th 2006 - 0.5 alpha1 On may 21st 2004 ToXic Chat was presented as the project for the diploma test by me and Dragoş. Of course, we got an A+ Project's first website was http://toxic.dreamsoft.ro/. The website was created by Dragoş, the domain was owned by Valentin Roca and the hosting was offered by Florin Vereş.
In the summer of 2005, after the release of 0.4, I started working alone on 0.5, rewritten in C++/Qt3 and licensed under the GPL. The new website is hosted by Sourceforge and created by Bogdan Constantin Bucevschi (Dragoş' brother). The old site can be found here.
